Within this e-commerce and sales internship you will work closely with the sales team, this team is involved in the daily sales of the product to ecommerce companies within South Africa. You will deal with the sales process on a daily basis, among other things. You also offer support in reaching out and bringing in new customers. For example, you make analyzes of the websites of current and potential customers, and you also prepare a plan to optimize these websites.

Wat ga je doen?
Onze opdrachtgever is een innovatieve start-up in de logistieke sector. Zij bieden een parcel pakketservice aan met meer dan 1300 punten door heel Zuid-Afrika daarnaast breiden ze uit naar andere landen zoals Botswana. Het bedrijf is opgericht door twee Nederlanders en ze zijn in de afgelopen vijf jaar ontzettend gegroeid met kantoren door het hele land.

Binnen deze finance stage bij een start-up zal jij nauw samenwerken met de finance manager. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor onder andere rapportages, jaarrekeningen en auditing controls. Daarnaast analyseer je bijvoorbeeld de huidige financiële systemen en ook voer je financieel gerelateerde administratieve taken uit. Je zal veel gaan werken binnen Excel, dus ervaring hiermee is een vereiste. Het is een pré als je interesse hebt in Business Intelligence en je daarnaast kennis hebt van het auditing process.

Het uitvoeren van marketing strategieën met name de Social Media zal bijvoorbeeld tot je dagelijkse takenpakket horen. Ook werk je mee op beurzen waar het bedrijf staat en zet je de daarvoor gebruikte marketing materialen in. Daarnaast beheer je de statistieken en kan je ook gevraagd worden voor ondersteuning bij ad-hoc marketing campagnes.
