Our client works in the tourism sector, offering day and multi-day tours in and around Cape Town. Their focus is on being active and their tours and activities are also geared to this, such as hiking, cycling and abseiling. They mainly approach the tourism sector but also local companies for team building events, for example.

Within this marketing and travel internship you will deal with tasks such as marketing, social media and website maintenance. Hereby you will spend time behind the computer but you will also be on the road a lot. For example, you go on a day and multi-day tours to create photos, videos and content for posts and blogs. You are also involved in active marketing where you visit agents to inform them about the company’s offer and to issue brochures. You may be asked to support with executive duties during one of the tours.

You will work closely with the factory manager. Together you work on the planning of the factory looking at production and logistical aspects. There is also room for research within your internship.
